Oppo, a company that is known for budget-friendly smartphones, had made it to the limelight by launching its Reno series. Reno 2, packing so much camera and other features, was launched two months back. Before we have time even to relax, the next device in the series is here — Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro. This time, Oppo has managed to bring 5G connectivity to both devices without compromising battery life on devices. Both these new devices are coming with dual-mode chipsets that intelligently manage data connectivity.
5G connectivity is not the only thing that makes the Oppo Reno 3 devices different. First of all, the device is coming with four antennas and corresponding software, which would be making the intelligent choice. The software would decide the optimal network environment, thereby cutting down unwanted battery draining. In addition to these, Reno 3 devices will be coming with 180Hz displays that have a whopping brightness of 800 nits and HDR10+ support. These features essentially make Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro great contenders for flagships in the market. The best part is that these devices are priced quite affordably, at least in China.
The base version of Oppo Reno 3 is available for approximately $486 while the Oppo Reno 3 Pro base model would cost you approximately $572. It should be noted that both of these devices are still cheaper than what Samsung and others have to offer. Just to get the context, both the new Oppo devices are powered by the Dimensity 1000 chipset, which MediaTek had launched recently. Users can have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage on these devices if they are willing to pay. The devices will be available in China from 31st of December but availability in other countries is still not confirmed.
